Meet the Founder
Leading With Grace, Guided by Purpose
Grace Flame Insurance Solutions was founded to bring clarity, dignity, and compassion to Medicare and Final Expense planning. This work is not transactional — it’s personal. Every conversation is led with care, education, and respect, because insurance decisions deserve time and understanding.
Anika’s Story
My journey into senior insurance began with one of the most painful experiences of my life.
My mother, Shirley Ann Cox Parham, was a lifelong social worker who spent her career caring for others. Toward the end of her life, she sat at the table and cried because she believed she had no insurance to cover her burial. Her funds were depleted, and she carried that fear with her until the end.
Only after she passed did we discover a long-forgotten policy from decades earlier — one she never knew existed.
She died without that peace.
That moment planted a seed that would later become my purpose: to ensure no senior or family ever feels confused, rushed, or uncertain about their coverage again.
Why I Do This Work
I don’t approach this work as a salesperson. I approach it as a guide, an educator, and an advocate.
With over 20 years of consultative experience, I provide Medicare and Final Expense guidance that is patient, clear, and pressure-free. My role is to explain options in plain language, answer questions honestly, and help clients feel confident in decisions that affect their health, finances, and families.
No one should leave this world worried about whether their loved ones will be okay. This work exists to bring peace of mind — with dignity and heart.

What Grace Flame Means

The name Grace Flame carries deep meaning.
Grace represents Agape — unconditional love and service. It is also woven into my identity. My name, Anika, is derived from Anna/Hannah, meaning grace or favor, and my mother’s middle name was Ann. Grace lives in both of our names and now forms the foundation of this business.
Flame symbolizes the light of God that carried me through grief after losing my mother during COVID-19. That light guided me through my darkest moments and into my calling. Today, Flame represents my promise to be that light for others — offering clarity, education, and trusted guidance when it’s needed most.
Meet Mingy
Mingy, our flamingo mascot, represents grace in motion, balance, and community — qualities reflected in the seniors and families I serve.
Flamingos are strong, steady, and resilient, even while standing on one leg in changing waters. Mingy serves as a gentle guide through Mingy Moments, helping make Medicare and insurance feel approachable, understandable, and human.
“Even in moments of change, balance is always possible — especially when you don’t walk alone.”
